Roma have entered the race for Inter target and Udinese goalkeeper Juan Musso, Italian media claim.

According to today’s print edition of the Corriere dello Sport, Roma will rival Inter for the purchase of Juan Musso from Udinese when the transfer window opens this summer.

Udinese have slapped a €20 million price tag on Musso but according to the report Roma could lover the cash part of the payment by including Diawara or Carles Perez in the deal.

Musso joined Udinese in 2018 from Racing Club in his native Argentina and has made fantastic progress in those years attracting interest from the big guns of Serie A.

Inter are looking to potential replacements for current goalkeeper and club captain Samir Handanovic who’s current deal expires in June 2022.

Handanovic has been a concrete starter for Inter since his arrival in 2012 and has never faced competition for his place since.

As the Slovenian has grown older, his performances are being questioned more often than ever before and it seems Inter may be looking to the future this summer.

Musso is one of multiple names that have been suggested for Handanovic’s replacement along with Andrei Radu who is already on the books with the Nerazzuri.

If Musso is the one Inter decide to go for it seems they will face competition from Roma for the Argentine’s signature.
