Inter have interest from four top European clubs for their midfielder Lucien Agoume, a report in Italy claimed tonight.

Agoume has made 10 appearances on loan for newly-promoted Spezia this season, although he was an unused substitute when Vincenzo Italiano’s side recorded a 2-0 win over AC Milan on Saturday.

According to FcInterNews.it, the 18-year-old is being followed by Marseille, Lyon and Villarreal, all of whom have confirmed to be keen on a deal with Inter.

Bayern Munich have been previously linked with Agoume and the Bundesliga giants are still among the French under-19 international’s suitors.

FCIN warned Marseille, Lyon and Villarreal’s interest was ‘serious’ and that there was no guarantee Inter would reject their advances.

While the Nerazzurri would normally ignore all offers for one of their brightest young talents, they explained, the ongoing off-field issues at the club mean they could potentially sell Agoume in the summer if an attractive offered arrived.

Agoume would be guaranteed regular playing time at all three clubs, unlike at Bayern where he would probably be afforded less space in the first team.

Inter signed Agoume in a €4.5 million deal from FC Sochaux in 2019 and saw him debut for the first team last season.
