Inter striker Romelu Lukaku spoke to the Italian Football Federation today about last month’s bust-up with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to a leading Italian broadcaster.

During the Milan derby in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals on January 26, the two were involved in a heated exchange with both players sharing insults and even going head-to-head with one another at one point.

As per Sky Sport Italia, Lukaku spoke specifically with FIGC prosecutors Ricciardi, Scarpa and Esposito, with the latter physically present at Inter’s training ground.

Angelo Cappellini, Inter’s club lawyer, accompanied the player in his interview.

The discussion lasted for around about half an hour before the Belgian national team striker left the club’s training ground.

This report comes contrary to one that emerged this morning which stated that Lukaku would speak with the FIGC tomorrow.

It is not currently clear what was said during the discussion between Lukaku and the individuals mentioned above.
