Marcelo Brozovic once again covered more ground than any other player in Serie A during last weekend’s round of fixtures.

The Inter midfielder ran further than anybody else on matchday 21 when the Nerazzurri won 2-0 at Fiorentina on February 5, and he has achieved the feat for the second week running after his performance against Lazio.

Brozovic covered 14.058 km during the 3-1 win over the Biancocelesti at San Siro, as noted by FcInterNews.it who referenced data from Serie A’s official website, which is just shy of a kilometre further than he ran during the victory over Cesare Prandelli’s side the previous week (13.309km).

Genoa’s Nicolo Rovella ran the second most on matchday 22 with 12.849 km, while Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic came in third with 12.738 km.

Brozovic has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Inter this season, in which he has scored one goal and provided seven assists.

Antonio Conte’s side are now top of the Serie A table for the first time, ahead of Sunday’s crucial Derby della Madonnina against second-placed AC Milan.
