Inter and AC Milan are interested in Club Brugge defender Odilon Kossounou, according to an Italian media report.

As per CalcioMercato.com, Kossounou, who was signed for €3 million from Swedish side Hammarby back in the summer of 2019, is now worth five times as much.

Kossounou is a promising centre-back and has tested himself against some of Europe’s best forwards in the past year, including Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland, Lazio’s Ciro Immobile and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe.

The 20-year-old came through the ranks of ASEC Mimosas, who have several famous alumni such as former Manchester City player Yaya Toure.

The four-time Ivory Coast national team representative, who is under contract with Club Brugge until 2024, has made 28 appearances across all competitions this season.

During his time on the pitch with Philippe Clement’s side, who are 13 points clear at the top of the Jupiler Pro League, Kossounou has scored a single goal and also provided one assist.
