Inter are scoring, crossing and running at a faster rate than any other team in Serie A, as per a report in the Italian media today.

Tuttosport published a graphic in Thursday’s print edition which explained the Nerazzurri’s style of play under Antonio Conte this season.

The data showed Inter had covered more distance than all other teams in the league, with Marcelo Brozovic topping the individual rankings courtesy of an average distance per game of 11.739 kilometres.

Conte’s side have also scored more than everyone else with 54 goals in 22 games, and they are top of the crossing charts with 142, which is 32 more than Fiorentina in second with 110.

In terms of ball possession, Inter willingly allow their opposition to have the ball and in this stat they unsurprisingly rank only fourth.

Conte’s Inter are currently leading the way in Serie A ahead of Sunday’s Milan derby, and it is not difficult to see why with statistics like those.

Victory over AC Milan at San Siro would extend their lead at the top of the table to four points.
