Inter coach Antonio Conte is looking to defenders Milan Skriniar, Stefan de Vrij and Alessandro Bastoni to contain AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Italian media details.

According to a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the defensive trio, nicknamed SDB, have regained solidity and now must prove themselves against the 39-year-old Swedish striker, who has been the Rossoneri’s talismanic striker this campaign.

In last season’s derby, Diego Godin took the place of Bastoni in the back three, but his experience did not help him to contain Ibrahimovic, who provided both an assist and a goal in the match.

In the derby back in October, Aleksandar Kolarov failed to contain Ibrahimovic, giving away a penalty and then failing to stop the second goal.

Coach Antonio Conte believes in the strength of Skriniar, De Vrij’s tactical intelligence and Bastoni’s strong anticipation, hoping the trio will finally be able to manage the Swedish striker.
