Inter Defender Stefan de Vrij At Halftime: “We Lead Deservedly, Now We Must Continue Like This”

Inter’s Dutch international central defender Stefan de Vrij believes the Nerazzurri are deservedly in the lead after the first half against AC Milan in the Serie A at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan’s San Siro district.

The former Lazio player underlined that although Inter deserve their lead the job is not done and they have to continue like this to go home with the win.

“We have prepared well for the game. We are there, we went into the lead deservedly and now we have to continue down this path.”

Inter lead by a goal to nil after Lautaro Martinez latched on to a Romelu Lukaku cross to give the Nerazzurri the lead in the 5th minute.
