Inter are 4 points clear top of the Serie A after an incredibly impressive win over AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.

The Nerazzurri won comfortably by 3-0 after a brace from Lautaro Martinez and a goal from Romelu Lukaku to put some daylight between themselves and the Rossoneri in second spot in the league table.

Samir Handanovic – 10: If Inter are to win the Scudetto, Samir needs to be this good. Made 3 fundamentally important saves that laid ground for win. 1 of 2 men of the match.

Milan Skriniar – 8: Milan Skriniar is apparently the Slovakian phrase for “big beautiful wall.” Impossible to think that he struggled in a back 3 once.

Stefan De Vrij – 8: Played like the best defender in the Serie A. Reads the game fantastically, great passing and personifies calmness and composure.

Alessandro Bastoni – 7: Has everything to become the best defender in the world but has to keep working on minimizing avoidable simple mistakes.

Achraf Hakimi – 7,5: Will miss next weekend’s match against Genoa due to suspension after being booked. Wasn’t as dominant as usual but still important.

Nicolo Barella – 8: The Nerazzurri’s own Energizer bunny keeps running, battling, winning the ball and building play. A complete midfielder already.

Marcelo Brozovic – 7,5: Very good game by the Croatian playmaker dictating the tempo of the midfield. Starting to form a ruthless partnership with Eriksen.

Christian Eriksen – 7: Struggled defensively against Calhanoglu and Kessie when running out of time but improving game by game. Offensively another level.

Ivan Perisic – 10: Undoubtedly his best performance in an Inter shirt. Dominating the left wing offensively as well as defensively. Phenomenal. The other man of the match.

Lautaro Martinez – 9: Scores a brace, links up well with his BFF Lukaku and probably should have scored at least 2 more. That’s his weakness: efficiency.

Romelu Lukaku – 8,5: An absolute beast when in this form. Unplayable in the 1 v 1 against Romagnoli as well as delivering a fantastic cross for the opener.

Matteo Darmian – N/A: Brought on in the 78th minute for Ivan Perisic when the match was over and unfair to give him a rating based on that.

Roberto Gagliardini – N/A: Brought on in the 78th minute for Christian Eriksen when the match was over and unfair to give him a rating based on that.

Alexis Sanchez – N/A: Brought on in the 79th minute for Lautaro Martinez when the match was over and unfair to give him a rating based on that.

Ashley Young – N/A: Brought on in the 83rd minute for Achraf Hakimi when the match was over and unfair to give him a rating based on that.

Arturo Vidal – N/A: Brought on in the 86th minute for Nicolo Barella when the match was over and unfair to give him a rating based on that.

Antonio Conte – 10: Perfectly prepared and executed his game-plan from start to finish. Has molded Perisic to being a top class wing-back.

Daniele Doveri – 7: Good performance by the referee who held a consistent level throughout the match getting all major calls right.

Inter – 10: Arguably the best derby performance by Inter in the Serie A since that legendary 4-0 demolition during the treble season.
