Inter defeated AC Milan convincingly by 3-0 in the Serie A Match Day 23 Derby della Madonnina clash between the two sides at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan’s San Siro district.

Inter started the match well and took the lead inside 5 minutes when Lautaro Martinez latched on to Romelu Lukaku cross to head home the opening goal.

The Nerazzurri continued to be in charge of the half but the Rossoneri created some dangerous chances but failed to score.

This after both Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez missed a sitter each before the interval which Inter led by just the solitary goal..

In the second half, Milan took complete control over the first 10 minutes creating three great chances which were all saved by the Samir Handanovic.

The Nerazzurri captain produced one world class save after another in 4 minutes to deny Zlatan Ibrahimovic twice and Sandro Tonali once.

Shortly after Lautaro Martinez doubled the Nerazzurri’s lead when passing the ball into an empty net following some great linkup play by Christian Eriksen and Ivan Perisic.

Romelu Lukaku scored the Nerazzurri’s last goal with what is now a trademark run from his own half before burying the shot in the back of the net.
