Nicolo Barella and Milan Skriniar will both be fit for Inter’s Serie A match against Genoa on Sunday, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Corriere dello Sport’s print edition, Barella felt some discomfort in one of his thighs near the end of Sunday’s Milan derby while Skriniar sustained a bruise, but both players have overcome these issues.

Antonio Conte is considering rotating the side slightly against the Rossoblu this weekend, given that Inter will play three matches in close succession.

Inter are to face Genoa at San Siro on Sunday before travelling to take on Parma on Thursday and will then play at home to Atalanta on the following Monday.

Conte has four key players – Romelu Lukaku, Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Alessandro Bastoni – who are one booking from suspension, which could convince him to rest one or more.

Arturo Vidal returning from the start in one of these three games is foreseeable, while Stefano Sensi has also made visible progress in his recovery from muscular fatigue and could make it into the squad to take on Genoa.
