Inter have been handed a boost ahead of their Serie A match against Genoa tomorrow, after left-back Luca Pellegrini was ruled out with injury.

The Nerazzurri are looking to build on a resounding 3-0 win over AC Milan last week to extend their four point lead at the top of Serie A against the Grifone, as they square off at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

According to Tuttosport, Genoa will go into the match without defender Pellegrini after the Juventus loanee picked up an injury in the closing stages of their 2-2 draw against Hellas Verona last week. The 21-year-old is expected to face up to two months on the sidelines after a muscular strain.

Meanwhile, coach Davide Ballardini will also be unable to call upon centre-back Davide Biraschi and midfielder Francesco Cassatta, who are also ruled out with injuries.

Genoa come into the match in strong form, having not tasted defeat in Serie A in seven matches, stretching back to early January.
