Inter coach Antonio Conte will turn to Matteo Darmian at right wing-back when his side take on Genoa at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Serie A tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri welcome the Grifone as they look to maintain their lead at the top of the table, after opening up a four point gap with a victory over AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina last weekend.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte will be without first choice wing-back Achraf Hakimi and so will instead name former Manchester United man Darmian in the starting line-up.

Morocco international Hakimi is currently serving a suspension due to an accumulation of yellow cards after being booked against Milan, paving the way for Darmian to feature.

Darmian, on loan from fellow Serie A outfit Parma, has made 17 appearances in Serie A this season and provided three assists without finding the net himself.
