Inter defeated Genoa by 3-0 in the Serie A Match Day 24 clash between the two sides at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in Milan’s San Siro district.
The Nerazzurri dominated from the very beginning with Lautaro Martinez linking up with Romelu Lukaku and the latter breaking the deadlock after roughly 30 seconds.
Inter continued to pile on the pressure creating chance after chance but poor finishing and excellent goalkeeping by Mattia Perin kept the deficit at goal at halftime.
In the second half, the Nerazzurri continued to drum away creating chance after chance but were unable to double their lead until the 69th minute when Matteo Darmian doubled the score.
The Nerazzurri were able to play a bit more relaxed and put the match beyond all doubt when Chilean international Alexis Sanchez scored the final goal, seconds after replacing Lautaro Martinez.
