Inter might be in great form but the Serie A title race is not over, at least in the eyes of Spezia boss Vincenzo Italiano.

The Nerazzurri are sitting four points clear at the top of the table after 24 games played, with AC Milan keeping pace after they beat Roma on Sunday.

Italiano believes the Rossoneri are not Inter’s only rivals though, instead talking up the chances of Juventus, who Spezia will face in Turin tonight.

“At the moment Inter seem to have gained confidence and greater self-esteem,” he remarked in an interview with Italian daily newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, which appeared in today’s print edition.

“Inter have great solidity and efficiency when they go forward with Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, who are almost unstoppable.

“But with 14 games remaining there are still many games and many variables to take into account.

“In my opinion, Juventus could still get involved again, they have one game in hand.”

The two arch-rivals have already faced off once in the league and Inter won that meeting 2-0 in January.

The final Derby d’Italia between the sides this season is due to come on the penultimate matchday of the 2020-21 season.

Given the timing of the match, it could be absolutely pivotal in where the title ends up, especially if Juventus are to tighten the gap on the Nerazzurri, who are regarded as favourites by many to win a first Scudetto since 2010.
