Alexis Sanchez could come into Inter’s starting line-up for tomorrow’s Serie A match at Parma, according to an Italian media report today.

As per Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition, Antonio Conte is pondering whether to pick the former Manchester United forward ahead of Lautaro Martinez in attack.

Romelu Lukaku will definitely start against Roberto D’Aversa’s struggling side, despite the Belgian being a booking away from suspension ahead of Monday’s game at home to Atalanta.

Arturo Vidal is also in contention to start, but if Conte did pick the 33-year-old it would be in place of Marcelo Brozovic, with Christian Eriksen moving across into the Croatian’s central role.

Conte appeared to confirm today that Sanchez was in contention to start against Parma, telling reporters in his pre-match press conference that he was fitter than he had ever been since joining Inter in 2019.

He also said Vidal was ready to play 90 minutes, with the former Barcelona midfielder seemingly having recovered from a knee injury.

Inter’s starting line-up vs Parma (3-5-2): Handanovic; Skriniar, De Vrij, Bastoni; Hakimi, Barella, Brozovic, Eriksen, Perisic; Sanchez, Lukaku.
