Romelu Lukaku has scored Inter’s two fastest Serie A goals since the start of the 2004-05 season, as highlighted by the Nerazzurri on social media.

The Belgian opened the scoring inside 32 seconds during Sunday’s 3-0 win over Genoa, but remarkably it’s not even the fastest goal he has scored this season.

This is because Lukaku also found the net after 28 seconds back in September, when Antonio Conte’s side beat Benevento 5-2 at the Stadio Ciro Vigorito.

Inter posted on Instagram: “Romelu Lukaku has scored Inter’s two fastest goals in Serie A since Opta started collecting such data (from 2004-05): against Genoa (00:32) and against Benevento in September (00:28).”
