Inter’s former academy striker Rigoberto Rivas has interest from three clubs in Serie A, according to an Italian media report today.
As per FCInterNews.it, the 22-year-old is being courted by two bottom-half sides and one higher profile team, although the names remain a secret for now.
Rivas has spent the last 18 months on loan at Reggina, now in Serie B, where he has scored two goals and provided two assists this season.
The report stated that Inter might need to agree a contract extension with Rivas before loaning him to a Serie A side, given that the Honduran’s current deal expires in the summer of 2022.
Rivas has been with Inter since 2016 but has never made a first-team appearance for the Nerazzurri, having spent most of his time out on loan in the Italian lower leagues.
In addition to Reggina, who he helped secure promotion from Serie C last season, he has also had spells at Prato, Brescia and Ternana.
