Maurizio Mariani will take charge of Inter’s Serie A match at home to Atalanta on Monday.

The 39-year-old referee will be assisted by Daniele Bindoni and Davide Imperiale while Juan Luca Sacchi will fulfil the role of fourth official at San Siro.

Paolo Valeri will be in charge of VAR for the clash between the two Nerazzurri sides and he will be assisted by Sergio Ranghetti.

Inter will be looking to make a big statement in the Serie A title race by beating Gian Piero Gasperini’s in-form side, but first Antonio Conte’s men must take care of business at Parma tonight.

Monday’s match will be the 21st game across all competitions that Mariani referees this season, while it will be the third time this season that he referees both Inter and Atalanta.

Mariani was the referee for Inter’s 2-1 Milan derby defeat on matchday 6, as well as for their goalless draw with Juventus in the second leg of last month’s Coppa Italia semi-final tie.

He also oversaw Atalanta’s 3-0 wins over Fiorentina and AC Milan on matchday 11 and matchday 19.

Inter will be hoping that is not a good omen for the visitors on Monday.
