Antonio Conte has finally succeeded in his mission to make Inter less ‘pazza’, at least according to one Italian media report today.

Corriere dello Sport’s print edition pointed out that Inter are six points clear at the top of the Serie A standings, have won their last six league games on the bounce and appear to be healthy and confident in their own ability.

Inter also even appear cured of their historic madness, which results in them being referred to as ‘Pazza Inter’ (crazy Inter).

Conte famously vowed to make Inter less ‘pazza’ and more linear when he was unveiled as head coach in 2019, and it seems he is at last making progress in that regard.

Last season, Inter finished one point behind champions Juventus but now they can boast a 10-point advantage over their arch rivals, who have won the last nine Serie A titles in a row.

The Nerazzurri are widely regarded as favourites to win the Serie A title, especially after last night’s 2-1 win at Parma.
