Inter’s victory at Parma proved they are now playing in Antonio Conte’s image, according to an Italian media report today.
The Nerazzurri went six points clear at the top of Serie A with a 2-1 win at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, but they were made to sweat for their three points.
Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition’s argued Inter would have a drawn a match like that in previous seasons, on a difficult night where their opponent was giving everything.
They credited Conte for this shift, arguing he has got the team playing in his image and praising his obsession for detail.
Conte’s methods were clearly proving an efficient and effective way of managing Inter’s players, the Milan-based paper explained, with Inter now breaking clear at the top of the table.
Inter’s next match will be at home to Atalanta on Monday when the Nerazzurri will look to take another giant stride towards a first league title since 2010.
