Inter are one of four Serie A clubs interested in signing Livorno’s teenage midfielder Francesco Nunziatini, according to an Italian media report today.

As per CalcioMercato.com, the Nerazzurri showed a keen interest in the 17-year-old during the January transfer window and were in fact very close to signing him.

Roma, Fiorentina and Juventus are all also interested in signing Nunziatini though, who has been a fairly regular feature in Livorno’s team this season in Serie C since the turn of the year.

Nunziatini is described as a ‘very technical’ left-sided central midfielder who is capable at making forward runs into the opposition box.

He has made a total of 10 appearances at first-team level this season, although he has been unable to make any goal contributions in little over 400 minutes.

There were no details in the report concerning how much Nunziatini would cost.

Livorno appointed former AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia as their new head coach earlier this week.
