Inter had three star performers alongside goal-scorer Alexis Sanchez during last night’s 2-1 win at Parma, according to an Italian media report.

Gazzetta dello Sport’s print edition handed Sanchez the highest rating for his performance at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, giving him 7.5/10.

But Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella and Romelu Lukaku all impressed nearly as much, each being rated 7/10.

“Lukaku didn’t score but you still end up asking how Inter could do without him,” the Milan-based paper wrote.

“Barella put his heart everywhere and anywhere, crossing with his right foot in a way you’d want to teach to youngsters.

“Bastoni was an extra play-maker when Parma were all sat deep, playing in Ivan Perisic with a beautiful left-footed pass; he was a guarantee.”

Elsewhere, Samir Handanovic, Stefan de Vrij and Marcelo Brozovic were all rated 6.5/10 while Achraf Hakimi, Christian Eriksen, Arturo Vidal and Lautaro Martinez were all rated 6/10.

The worst two performers on the night were Milan Skriniar and Perisic, both of whom were rated just 5.5/10 with the report pointing out that they were made to pay for being distracted as Parma scored.

Inter went six points clear of AC Milan at the top of Serie A courtesy of their victory over Roberto D’Aversa’s side, with just 13 games left until the end of the season.
