Marcelo Brozovic showed his best leadership qualities during Inter’s win at Parma last night, according to a report in the Italian media.
Tuttosport’s print edition gave the midfielder a rating of 7.5/10 for his display at the Stadio Ennio Tardini, Inter’s joint-highest alongside Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.
Brozovic has been walking a disciplinary tightrope for an astonishing 10 games now but the Croatian has never let it affect the standard of his performances.
“He played every pass with the attitude of a leader,” the Turin-based paper argued this morning.
“An example of this was the way he won back the ball for the move which led to Inter’s first goal.”
Nicolo Barella was rewarded with a rating of 7/10 for his performance against Roberto D’Aversa’s side, the same score awarded to Antonio Conte for his coaching performance against ‘his kryptonite’ in Parma.
Samir Handanovic and Milan Skriniar were both rated 6.5/10 while Stefan de Vrij, Alessandro Bastoni, Achraf Hakimi, Christian Eriken and Arturo Vidal were all rated 6/10.
Lautaro Martinez and Ivan Perisic were deemed to be the Nerazzurri’s worst performers by this report, receiving ratings of 5.5/10.
