Inter are running away with the Serie A title but should still be wary of this coming Monday’s Serie A match at home to Atalanta, according to Nerazzurri legend Nicola Berti.

Antonio Conte’s side are six points clear at the top of the Serie A table at the moment with 13 games to spare, following last night’s 2-1 win at Parma.

They are being widely tipped to win the club’s first league title since the treble-winning campaign in 2010.

Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli today, Berti said: “We’re running away with it, but whisper it quietly.

“I believe in the Scudetto, but watch out for the match against Atalanta on Monday.”

Inter’s form of late has been nothing short of spectacular and a lot has been made of the fact that they are not competing in Europe unlike their title rivals.

The Nerazzurri’s lack of European commitments is seen as a big advantage for Antonio Conte’s side and their title chase – although Inter went top of Serie A on February 14, the week before AC Milan and Juventus returned to Europe.
