Alexis Sanchez has become the first Chilean to score twice for Inter in a single Serie A game since Ivan Zamorano some 22 years ago, as highlighted by stats company Opta.
Sanchez scored a double on Thursday night as Inter ran out 2-1 winners over relegation-threatened Parma at the Stadio Ennio Tardini in Emilia-Romagna.
Zamorano, who scored Chile’s last double for Inter in the league back in 1999, coincidentally scored his goals against the Ducali as well.
Sanchez’s goals have taken Antonio Conte’s side six points clear at the top of the table.
