Inter defeated Parma by 2-1 in the Serie A Match Day 25 clash between the two sides at the Stadio Ennio Tardini.

The Nerazzurri struggled against a very aggressive and tactically well structured Parma side who took command of the game in the opening minutes.

Inter worked their way into the match and increased the tempo as the half went on and were close to taking the lead at the very end of the first half, but it ended 0-0.

In the second half, the Nerazzurri started much better and continued where they left off in the first half and were justly rewarded when Alexis Sanchez broke the deadlock in the 54th minute.

Only 6 minutes later the Chilean international striker doubled the Nerazzurri’s lead, once again assisted by Romelu Lukaku, bringing his assist tally in the Serie A to 8.

Inter started to relax more, perhaps a but too much as Hernani pulled one back making the end of the game very nervous for the Nerazzurri.

However, Antonio Conte’s men were able to hold out to secure their 6th consecutive Serie A match to go 6 points clear of AC Milan in the top of the league table.
