Inter coach Antonio Conte has the luxury of calling upon any of his strikers at the moment, with Romelu Lukaku, Lautaro Martinez and Alexis Sanchez all in good form.
The Nerazzurri are the league’s top scorers with 62 goals this season and are enjoying their most prolific campaign since 1950-51, as they sit six points clear at the top of the Serie A table.
As reported in today’s newspaper edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Conte now has a wealth of options up front and an attacking line that is working cohesively, with all three players into double figures for combined goals and assists.
Belgium international Lukaku leads the club’s scoring charts with 18 goals and has provided a further seven assists, whilst regular strike partner Martinez has contributed 13 goals and five assists this term.
Beyond that pairing, the return to form of Chile forward Alexis Sanchez has given Conte even more choice, with the ex-Manchester United and Arsenal man netting a brace in Thursday’s 2-1 win over Parma. Sanchez has now scored five goals and registered as many assists as he challenges for a starting spot.
