Maurizio Mariani has been named as the referee for Inter’s Serie A match against Atalanta at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Monday evening.

Antonio Conte’s side currently sit six points clear at the top of the table and look to extend their unbeaten league run to 10 when they welcome La Dea, with the visitors hoping to maintain their Champions League ambitions.

According to FCInterNews.it, Rome-born Mariani is set to officiate the clash and will take charge of his third Inter match this season.

Mariani previously refereed the Nerazzurri’s 2-1 defeat to AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina in October as well as the second leg of the Coppa Italia Semi-Final last month, as Inter drew 0-0 with Juventus.

The 39-year-old has officiated nine Inter matches throughout his career, with the Biscione winning four times and losing three.

Inter, meanwhile, are looking to continue their impressive home record against Atalanta, having not lost since March 2014.
