Inter’s dominant form over the past few months has been highlighted by their impressive points return, with only Premier League leaders Manchester City boasting a better tally over the past 100 days.

The Nerazzurri currently sit six points clear at the top of the Serie A table following Thursday’s 2-1 win over Parma, stretching their unbeaten run to nine matches.

As reported in today’s newspaper edition of Corriere dello Sport, Inter have won 15 and drawn two of their 18 matches since a come-from-behind 4-2 win over Torino on November 22, averaging 2.61 points per game.

Meanwhile, over the past 100 days Antonio Conte’s side have picked up 47 points, bettered only by the 50 of Manchester City in the Premier League.

The newspaper highlighted the differences between the two teams, with City coach Pep Guardiola’s lengthy tenure in charge and the larger transfer fees by the English club additional reasons to credit Inter.

Meanwhile, Inter’s recent form has been suggested as stemming from Conte’s tactical tweaks to his 3-4-1-2 formation to allow greater movement and solidity in defence.
