Atalanta winger Robin Gosens has fired a warning at Inter ahead of their clash at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza tomorrow, insisting that his side are going there to claim all three points.

League leaders Inter welcome La Dea in Serie A as they look to extend their nine-match unbeaten run, whilst Champions League chasing Atalanta are seeking a first away victory over the Beneamata since 2014.

Speaking to Italian television channel Bergamo TV yesterday, Gosens claimed he was ready for a tough encounter but was confident his side could trouble Antonio Conte’s men.

“As a team at the moment we are doing very well, we do not concede many and attack with numbers,” the Germany international stated.

“This is something that Inter maybe do not have as they perhaps look to play on the counterattack, with two champions in Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku.

“But as a team, we are playing very well and arrive in the area with six or seven players, making defending for Inter difficult. We will see how the game goes, it may be decided in one moment.

“We will arrive at the San Siro full of confidence and we want to win. It does not mean we have to win the Scudetto, but if we go to seven points behind then anything can happen. It can also be a signal to others that we are doing well.”

Atalanta currently sit 10 points behind Inter in the Serie A table but come into the match off the back of a resounding 5-1 victory over Crotone in midweek, with Gosens opening the scoring.

The former Heracles midfielder has made 31 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 10 goals.
