Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic has covered the most distance in Serie A this season, with the tireless Croatian outrunning any other player in the league.

The former Dinamo Zagreb man has been an almost ever present figure in the middle for Antonio Conte’s side this term, having only missed three league games.

As reported by FCInterNews.it, Brozovic leads the table of distance covered this term after running 11,781km over 1785 minutes of Serie A action.

The 28-year-old is ahead of Sampdoria’s Norway international Morten Thorsby, who has clocked up 11,626km over the course of the campaign. Third place is taken by Brozovic’s international teammate Marko Rog, with the Cagliari midfielder covering 11,555km.

Brozovic joined Inter from Dinamo Zagreb in 2015 and has gone on to make 231 appearances for the Nerazzurri, scoring 23 goals. A Croatia international, Brozovic has won 55 caps and featured in the 2018 World Cup Final as his side lost 4-2 to France.
