Alessandro Bastoni is ‘ready’ to commit his long-term future to Inter, according to a report in the Italian media today.

Inter paid €31 million to sign the 21-year-old from Atalanta back in 2017 but now Bastoni is worth more than €50 million and attracting interest from several clubs, according to CalcioMercato.com.

Inter are however calm and are ready to give the new Italian international a new contract, and the player is ready to extend his current deal from 2023 to 2025.

The new deal will come with a well-deserved salary increase and will see Bastoni go from being the club’s lowest paid outfield player to a player who will earn €3.5 million a year, certainly a fair reward for a player who has done what he has in the early stages of his career.

Bastoni has made 30 appearances across all competitions under Antonio Conte this season, in which he has provided a total of three assists.

He will start against his former club tonight when Inter go in search of a crucial win for their Serie A title hopes.
