Inter duo Marcelo Brozovic and Ivan Perisic have been included in the Croatia squad for this month’s FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

The central midfielder and left wing-back have been named among Croatian national team coach Zlatko Dalic’s 24-man squad for the 2022 World Cup qualifying matches against Slovenia, Cyprus and Malta.

The 2018 World Cup runners up will play these three sides on March 24, March 27 and March 30 respectively and Brozovic and Perisic are bound to add to their international caps.

Brozovic has 55 caps to his name to date while Perisic could potentially come one international appearance away from making 100 national team appearances, should he feature in all three games.

While Brozovic and Perisic will be going away on national team duties, Inter’s South American contingent will be staying at Appiano Gentile, after the South American football federation CONMEBOL postponed all upcoming matches.

As a result of the postponements, Lautaro Martinez, Matias Vecino, Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez will all stay with the club over the international break.
