Inter are still keeping tabs on Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, according to an Italian media report today.

CalcioMercato.com report that Milenkovic last summer was the main candidate Inter had in mind to replace Milan Skriniar, who looked like he could have been on his way to Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur.

The Nerazzurri are still interested and certainly should not be counted out of the list of suitors for Serbian international Milenkovic, who has also been subject to interest from AC Milan.

Fiorentina wanted €40 million for the former Partizan Belgrade player not so long ago but come the summer he will have just one year left on his deal, meaning his price will drop by at least €10 million.

Inter coach Antonio Conte is a big fan of Milenkovic, as is AC Milan director Paolo Maldini, but the report explains that AC Milan’s priority is signing Fikayo Tomori outright from Chelsea.
