Romelu Lukaku is on Manchester City’s shortlist as they look to address their lack of a top goal-scorer, according to a British media report.

While Pep Guardiola’s side sit top of the Premier League, 11 points clear of second-placed Manchester United, one of the big shortcomings in the side is the lack of a real goal-scorer and as per The Athletic, Manchester City are ready to invest heavily in the summer.

They are looking for a young yet mature player who can come in and make a decisive impact right away, just like defender Ruben Dias has this season.

Dias’s impact shows that City do not necessarily need to secure their first-choice target in order to make a great signing, meaning Lukaku could prove to be the right choice if they cannot secure Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund (the player fans want the club to sign).

However, it will come as no surprise that Inter – according to reports in Italy last month – consider Lukaku, who has 24 goals this season, to be completely unsellable.
