Inter’s win over Atalanta on Monday was their first Serie A success with only one shot on target since 2009, as highlighted by stats company Opta.
Milan Skriniar’s goal in the second half was the only time that Antonio Conte’s side found the target in 90 minutes at San Siro, but it was enough to take them six points clear at the top of the table once again.
Inter had not managed to take all three points with so little goal action since Jose Mourinho oversaw a victory against Udinese in April 2009.
1 – Inter have won a Serie A game firing only one shot on target in the match for the first time since April 2009, against Udinese. Solid.#InterAtalanta #SerieA
