Hellas Verona are willing to sign Federico Dimarco on an outright basis from Inter, according to an Italian media report.

As per FCInterNews.it, the Gialloblu club are willing to sign the left wing-back for a sum of €7 million having been left impressed by his performances since he joined them on loan.

There are some foreign clubs with an interest in Dimarco and Hellas Verona could repeat something they have done several times on the past, by going on to sell a player for big money.

For example, in 2014, they signed Juan Manuel Iturbe from Porto for €15 million and then sold him to Roma for €28 million and more recently they sold Sofyan Amrabat to Fiorentina for €18 million plus bonuses.

In addition to foreign clubs, the report goes on to add that Lazio have already made an enquiry.

Inter would also stand to benefit if Hellas Verona sell Dimarco on to another club, because the Nerazzurri are due a hefty percentage of any future transfer fee as part of the two clubs’ agreement last summer.
