Inter are one of several clubs to have developed an interest in signing Torino captain Andrea Belotti, according to an Italian media report today.
As per Tuttosport’s print edition, AC Milan, Napoli, Roma, Atletico Madrid and various English clubs are also keen on signing the Italian national team forward.
Belotti’s current contract with the Granata is due to expire at the end of next season and the player, who does not have an official agent, has shown no sign of being interested in sitting down and discussing the possibility of a new contract.
This is not so much down to money but rather the motivational aspect, given that Torino would quite simply be happy to avoid relegation in Serie A this season.
So far Belotti has not received any offers from other clubs, despite all of the interest in his services.
This season the 27-year-old has made 23 appearances across all competitions to date, in which he has scored 11 goals and provided six assists.
Torino are Inter’s next opponents in Serie A, with Antonio Conte’s side due to travel to Turin on Sunday.
