Inter have hailed Samuel Eto’o as ‘one of the greatest strikers of all time’ after the former Cameroon international turned 40 on Wednesday.

Eto’o was a key part of the Inter side which won the treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010, joining the club the previous summer from Barcelona in a swap deal which took Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the opposite direction.

He made 102 appearances in all competitions during a three-year spell with the Nerazzurri, scoring 53 goals.

Inter tweeted a picture of Eto’o showing off his photography skills during a match at San Siro, to mark yesterday’s special occasion.
