Antonio Conte will be hoping to continue his 100% record against Torino as a coach on Sunday, as highlighted by a report in the Italian media today.
Tuttosport’s print edition pointed out that between his time in charge of Juventus and time at Inter so far, Conte has won all seven games against Torino.
During his time at Juventus, his side never once conceded a goal against the Granata while things have been a little more complicated for him against Torino since joining the Nerazzurri.
Inter went 2-0 down during this season’s reverse fixture in November but came behind to win 4-2, with that match marking a turning point for the club’s campaign.
Conte’s side have picked up 50 points since their victory at San Siro, which is eight more than Juventus and 11 more than AC Milan during the same period.
Inter also secured a turning point in their season against Torino last season, when they came from behind to win 3-1 and begun their charge towards second place in the Serie A table.
The Turin-based paper pointed out that things would be different on this occasion, however, as Conte’s side now need victory in order to consolidate top spot.
