Inter are one of three elite European clubs plotting a summer move for Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero, according to an Italian media report today.

Aguero’s contract with the Premier League leaders is due to expire at the end of this season and as per CalcioMercato.com, there is little sign of him agreeing a new deal to stay in Manchester.

In addition to Inter, Juventus and Barcelona are both also interested in signing the 32-year-old, who has struggled for regular game time this season due to COVID-19 and injury problems.

Pep Guardiola is said to have made ‘different decisions’ for Manchester City’s future, meaning Aguero is free to leave and could become an important transfer opportunity for big European teams.

Few players have been able to score as much as Aguero has for Manchester City in the past decade, having scored 256 goals in 382 appearances across all competitions since his arrival in England in 2011.

The former Atletico Madrid player, who came through the ranks of Club Atlético Independiente, has made just 12 appearances across all competitions under Guardiola in the current campaign, in which he has scored two goals.
