Inter must compete with Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester United as they look to swoop for Roma centre-back Gianluca Mancini.

The former Atalanta defender has emerged as a pivotal figure at the heart of the Giallorossi defence and followed up the only goal in last weekend’s 1-0 win over Genoa with another against Shakhtar Donetsk in the Europa League on Thursday.

According to British tabloid The Daily Express, both Chelsea and Manchester United have identified Mancini as an affordable defensive option, with the Blues looking to replace Thiago Silva and the latter looking for reinforcements.

Whilst Inter have been tracking the 24-year-old, the Premier League clubs have now entered the race and would look to tempt Roma with offers of €31 million for the Italian international.

Mancini has also drawn interest from fellow Premier League outfit Everton, with coach Carlo Ancelotti keen to bring him to Goodison Park.

The former Perugia defender joined Roma on an initial loan from Atalanta in 2019 before making the switch permanent for €13m last summer, and has scored six goals in 68 appearances for the Giallorossi.
