Lautaro Martinez has fully immersed himself in Antonio Conte’s ideas and philosophy at Inter now, an Italian broadcaster has claimed today.

El Toro was the Nerazzurri’s hero yesterday as he scored a late header to secure a 2-1 victory at Torino, taking Inter nine points clear at the top of Serie A.

Sky Sport Italia highlighted that Lautaro had made huge improvements since joining the club 2018 and said he was continuing to develop thanks to the work of Conte.

Lautaro has already matched his goal tally in Serie A from last season (14) with 11 games to spare, and based on recent form he is only bound to add to that goal tally.

The 23-year-old was recently praised by Conte for his defensive efforts, especially after the 1-0 win over Atalanta last Monday.

The fact he is providing a decisive contribution in defence is proof that Conte has done a great job on him, with Sky even comparing Lautaro to Samuel Eto’o for his application and work-rate.

Lautaro has scored 16 goals in 37 appearances across all competitions this season while he has also provided nine assists for his teammates.
