Inter centre-back Stefan De Vrij used social media to hail yesterday’s 2-1 victory over Torino in Serie A as a win of great significance to the Nerazzurri.

Netherlands international De Vrij and his teammates overcame a determined Granata side to secure victory late on through Lautaro Martinez, after Romelu Lukaku had earlier netted a penalty.

Taking to Instagram, the former Lazio defender posted a photo of himself in action, as well as one of the team celebrating.

“A very important victory,” De Vrij added in his caption.
