Inter’s struggles in front of goal in yesterday’s 2-1 win over Torino were brought into focus on Twitter by Opta, revealing the Nerazzurri saw no shots on target in the first half.
Antonio Conte’s side laboured until a Romelu Lukaku penalty and a Lautaro Martinez header after the break sealed the win.
It is only the fifth time Inter have failed to hit the target in the first half this season, and the second time against Torino.
“0 – Inter have fired no shots on target during the first half in five games in Serie A this term, including twice against Torino. Dry,” Opta’s Tweet read.
