Christian Eriksen has played a key role in Inter’s current winning streak in Serie A, an Italian media report has highlighted today.
Gazzetta dello Sport, via their online edition, have highlighted that in the run of eight straight victories, several Inter players have improved on an individual level, but none more so than Eriksen.
Eriksen made his first league start of the season in the 4-0 win over Benevento on January 30, the first game in the Nerazzurri’s winning streak.
Thanks to their current run, Inter have managed to move nine points clear at the top of the Serie A standings and Eriksen has had a big role to play, with his form having drastically improved in recent weeks.
Eriksen has only scored one goal in all competitions this season and provided no assists, but his general play has improved and he has become an important player in Antonio Conte’s side.
The Milan-based publication goes on to highlight besides the Dane, Milan Skriniar is back smiling, Marcelo Brozovic has found confidence again and Achraf Hakimi is performing at peak levels.
