Inter are hoping to raise around €30 million by selling three midfielders in the summer transfer window, according to an Italian media report today.
As per CalcioMercato.com, the Nerazzurri have plans to offload Matias Vecino, Arturo Vidal and Radja Nainggolan on permanent deals to balance their books.
Starting with Vecino, who has barely featured this season due to injury, Inter hope to raise €8-10 million through his sale and they would also make a saving of approximately €4.5 million before tax a year by offloading his salary.
Vidal arrived amid lots of excitement but has turned into an expensive reserve with him earning €6.5 million net, which is about €8 million gross thanks to the Italian growth decree relating to taxation of foreigners.
As for Nainggolan, Inter plan on selling him to loan club Cagliari and once again they would be able to save several million by getting his salary off the clubs books.
All in all, the Nerazzurri hope to raise around about €30 million from the sales of the three midfielders.
Vecino made his return to action during Inter’s 2-1 win at Torino on Sunday while Vidal is out for up to a month after undergoing knee surgery last Friday.
