Alexis Sanchez and Christian Eriksen will be key figures in securing the Scudetto for Inter, according to the Nerazzurri’s former defender Daniele Adani.

Both players have experienced a turnaround in form in recent weeks and have gone from being frustrating players to players who are now making a notable impact on the Nerazzurri’s games.

Sanchez and Eriksen were both involved heavily in Sunday’s 2-1 win at Torino, with the Dane helping set up Inter’s penalty before the Chilean crossed for Lautaro Martinez to head in the winner.

“They are two players who don’t s*** themselves when opponents sit deep,” Adani argued during a broadcast on Bobo TV, the official Twitch channel of former Inter striker Christian Vieri.

“Sanchez and Eriksen will bring Inter the Serie A title, not least because everyone else was already there last season.

“Inter’s strike partnership remains the same, but now these two players are adding in their own quality.

“With Eriksen Inter have picked up almost maximum points, while Sanchez scored twice against Parma, after his goal against Genoa, and gave the assist for Lautaro against Torino.

“Alexis and Eriksen give you unpredictability, we have had to explain for a year that these two players should be starting.”

Adani, who played for Inter between 2002 and 2004, then spoke on the Nerazzurri’s uninspiring performance at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, arguing it was not their fault that the match had been so boring.

“It wasn’t a good game because it takes two teams to play football, and Torino were defending with everyone in their own box,” he explained.

There are just 11 games to spare of the 2020-21 Serie A season and Antonio Conte’s side appear to be in a very good position to win the club’s first league title since 2010.
