Inter plan on loaning out youngsters Lucien Agoume and Lorenzo Pirola again next season, according to an Italian media report today.

Tuttosport’s print edition, via CalcioMercato.com, claimed the Nerazzurri wanted the pair to gain more first-team experience before reviewing their futures at the end of the 2021-22 campaign.

Agoume is on a season-long loan at Spezia while Pirola is playing for Monza in Serie B, having reportedly turned down the chance to join Pescara in January.

Both have enjoyed a reasonable amount of game time at their respective loan clubs after starting this season on the fringes of their squads.

Agoume has made 11 appearances under Vincenzo Italiano for Spezia this season, having forced his way up the midfield pecking order around December and January.

Pirola, meanwhile, has played seven times for Monza under Cristian Brocchi, displacing more experienced centre-backs in their starting XI during recent weeks.

Neither player has contributed directly to any goals scored by their teams so far this season.
